Our master bathroom makeover took forever. You know what happened? The day after we ripped out our old vanity my father went in for a routine surgery and all hell broke loose. His recovery ended up taking 6 months instead of 6 days…so…not the best time to be in the middle of a bathroom reno. But, it’s finally done! At least, it’s as done as it’s going to be for right now, and I could not be happier with it! It’s warm and inviting, and doesn’t feel like a big empty box anymore.
Our new Ikea vanity holds everything nicely and I absolutely LOVE our water-spout style faucet!
I’m so happy we got rid of that awful huge mirror. I think the new one, with the light fixtures, gives off that industrial vibe we love.
And the new towel ladder fits perfectly on the small wall outside the shower door which means no more towels tossed over doors!
I just can’t get over the difference some small changes have made! Decluttering helped a lot also 🙂
New Paint: CIL Unicorn White
Light Fixtures: VITEMÖLLA, Ikea
Vanity: HEMNES, Ikea
Sink: RÄTTVIKEN, Ikea
Faucet: PfisterJaida, Lowes
Mirror: HomeSense
I never got around to getting shelves up above the toilet or painting the red Ikea unit, but they are still on my list. And now that we’re done, I think I want to do some sort of wall treatment to add a touch more character – maybe some board & batten? Or wood planks? What do you think?
