Do you have a quilter on your shopping list this year? Here are some amazing gift ideas that any quilter will love! These are all either products I use (and love) myself or are on my wish list!

Sew Steady Table
A Sew Steady Table is definitely at the top of my quilting wish list this year. These extension tables are custom-made by sewing machine model and store away when not in use. I missed my chance to grab one on Massdrop a few months back and I’m kicking myself for it now!
Specialty Sewing Machine Feet
Not all sewing machines come with specialty feet that make quilting easier. Find out what type of machine they have and if they already have a 1/4″ foot, a walking foot and a darning foot – three key feet that every quilter should have (IMHO).
Fabric
More fabric? The answer is always yes. How about a gift certificate to a local quilt shop or online fabric store? Maybe a fabric subscription service? Check out Friday’s Off (Canada) and Fat Quarter Shop (US)
Rulers
A quilter can never have too many rulers. My favourites right now are the Hex n More and for foundation paper piecing, the Add a Quarter ruler.
Wonder Clips
Like rulers, you can also never have too many wonder clips! These things are amazing and have so many uses. I might buy myself this pack of 100!
Creative Books
Every year there are tons of great sewing books released, my favourite of 2015 has definitely been Handmade Style by Anna Graham and The Farmer’s Wife 1930s Sampler Quilt. When I need some inspiration I turn to Sunday Morning Quilts for some serious scrap-busting and 502 New Quilting Motifs to step up my machine quilting game. On my wishlist this year are some colouring books, like Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book.
Subscriptions that Inspire
Is the quilter in your life someone inspired by all things creative? If so, they would probably love Uppercase Magazine. I look forward to it arriving every quarter!
