As a do-it-yourselfer I love when people are inspired to tackle their own decorating project, but I also understand how hard it can be to figure out exactly what will look good in your space and what colours to pick.
That’s why I’m so excited to start offering e-design (or design plans) as one of my new services.
E-design is a great way to take advantage of the expertise of a professionally trained decorator at a significantly reduced cost.
So what exactly is e-design?
I work with you to figure out exactly what you’re looking for in a new space. You send me some before photos and all your room measurements and in about a week I present you with some design concepts. You choose which direction you want to go in and then I get to work creating your plan.
I figure out exactly what pieces you will need to complete your space and what options are available to you in your budget.
If there are pieces you already have that you love, we can usually figure out how to incorporate them into your design – you don’t necessarily need to replace all your stuff to create a space you love!
The best thing about e-design is that you’re free to put together your new space as quickly (or as slowly) as you like. If you want to add pieces over time (helpful with a small budget) you can, knowing that when you’re done everything will coordinate and create a look you love.
So, what’s included in one of my e-design packages?
- An inspiration mood board
- A scale drawing of your space including furniture placement
- Multiple 3D renderings of the final decorated space
- A setup guide with instructions for putting it all together
- A material mood board including fabric and paint selections
- A complete shopping list of recommended furniture and accessories
Essentially, everything you need to create a space you love! Who is e-design for? Anyone who is looking for help designing their perfect space but is comfortable working from the design plan to do all their own shopping and furniture arranging.
