Here are some tips for selecting and installing your new ceiling fan:

Place your fan as close to the center of the room as you can

Make sure there is a lot of space between the fan blades and your walls

Hang your fan at an appropriate height based on the height of your ceilings (rooms with high ceilings should use a down rod)

Never hand a fan lower than 7′ from the ground – if you have short ceiling try an enclosed flush-mount fan or one that installs on a wall
